Orthopedic Rehabilitation Therapy
Orthopedic physical therapists are dedicatedly focused on restoring the function of musculoskeletal system in patients who have undergone joint replacement (TKR, THR), sustained trauma (any fracture, muscular strain , ligament sprain, ACL, PCL tear)or have been diagnosed with some degenerative joint disease (rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, frozen shoulder, teniselbow). A patient centered comprehensive orthopedic rehabilitation program is designed to best meet the needs of each patient in terms of

- Improvement in balance and regain mobility
- Restore physical function and enhance these skills needed to perform ADLs
- Optimize independence and facilitate return to an active lifestyle.
Our team is well equipped with skills such as- manual therapy techniques, hydrotherapy, thera bands, kinesio taping, swiss ball exercises, dry needling , pilates, pressure biofeedback etc.
Neurological Rehabilitation Therapy
It is a combined effort of a multidisciplinary team comprises of physical therapists, occupational therapists, social worker, psychologist, prosthetist, peer counselor, and assistive technologist. Collectively, they are providing exclusive care plans for number of conditions such as stroke, head injury, spinal cord injury, Gullian Barre syndrome, motor neuron disease, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s disease etc.
Hydrotherapy, WII fit, balance master, FES, BWSTT, and many other advanced equipments are used in collaboration with neurorehab approaches such as NDT, PNF, CIMT, MRP to provide best possible outcomes to our patients.
Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Therapy
Goal of this specialty is to work on cardio respiratory fitness, endurance, and improvement of functional independence. They focus on helping individual who suffer from cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions such as heart attack, COPD, asthma, emphysema, pulmonary fibrosis, life style disorders such as diabetes, high blood pressure etc. But role is not limited to this only, they are providing precise care to ICU patients who have their cardio respiratory systems in a compromised state . Along with their specific techniques they are providing training to the patients using IMT, ACCA PALA device and home exercise program to maintain strength and endurance and prevent any other complication.
Pediatric Rehabilitation Therapy
unique needs of babies, children, and adolescents is the primary focus. Our team is providing multidisciplinary care to the children with developmental disorders such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, brachial plexus injury, cerebellaratrophy, spinal cord injury, young stroke, torticollis, hypotonia, osteogenesis imperfecta, autism spectrum etc. Plan of care may include various therapies to optimize physical function, psychological support, use of adaptive equipments for home, school, and community events, speech therapy. Evidence based practice includes :
- Building developmental skills
- Neuromuscular re-education
- Gait and balance training
- Aquatic therapy
- Equipment recommendations etc.
Geriatric Rehabilitation Therapy
Provided to older adults who are experiencing multiple complex medical problems or unexplained recent breakdown in health and function to restore their functioning. Aim is to restore not only the health but the hope and joy in the heart of our elderly population. For this ISIC has initiated“GERI REHAB CLINICS” one of its first kind in India.
Here assessments are done keeping in mind the age specific issues that are attention, memory, bone health, falls, cardiovascular issues etc. after individualized assessments we are providing services such as wii fit training, weight management, biofeedback, coping strategies, home modifications, energy conservation, personalized fall prevention and healthy living programs.
